Information Security Awareness workshop conducted at college of Air Warfare for the Trainees on November 2nd 2010 for the same around 35 members were participated.
The session started with brief introduction and later started the workshop with importance of the awareness workshop and agenda of the workshop.
The session started and delivered by the CDAC resourse persons Mrs.Indraveni and S.OmAarathi. The topics covered are
- Latest Cyber news
- Major Online Attacks
- Latest Viruses and its affects
- Demo video on Identity Theft
- Examples of Phishing attacks
- Importance of Copyrights
- Importance of Password
- Guidelines for safe downloading
- Secure your PC
The session was very interactive and questions raised on secure web browsing, spam mails, malware and many more and all were answered by CDAC resourse persons.
