The Information Security Awareness Workshop was conducted at ISACA by C-DAC Hyderabad on 20th November 2010. There were a mix of participants from Banking domain, System Auditors, Application Auditors etc making a total of 23 members.
The Session were including the following concepts :
- Internet Risks
- Safe Downloads
- Browsers
- Secure Connection - SSL
- Social Engineering
- Password Protection
The Session was conducted for 3 hours with complete interactive way. The participants been techies, the discussion were into the personal experiences of many.
Some of the members shared their experices that they had with their clients when they use softwares without reading the terms and conditions properly and finally when in trouble the software company is not responsible for the loss or damage.
The concepts were well taken up by members and was a successful workshop.
