Information Security Awareness workshop at Department of IT MOCIT on 9th   Novemeber 2011. Total 26 members participated for the same. It was conducted in the morning for two hours.  The topics covered during the session are

• Introduction to information security
• Why security is required
•  Email spoofing and fraudulent mails
• Case studies, Online shopping  and ATM security
• Browser security
• Passwords security
• Anti- virus, Bot, botnets, Spyware, Trojans Threats, Stego Bot,
• click jacking, Tab napping and Vulnerabilities etc.
• Video films
• Quiz  was conducted and also given the prize for the winners
