The Information Security Awareness workshop conducted at Dr. D. Y. Patil Polytechnic, Kasba Bavda, Kolhapur, on 23rd march 2011. The workshop was divded into two Batches(s): 11:30 AM -1.10 P.M. and 2:00 PM-3.45 PM.

Audience: Around 200 members for each session which includes students of Polytechnic along with their faculty members.

Members from C-DAC who participated and coordinated the workshop:
1.    Mr. Chandrakant D, C-DAC pune.
2.    Mr. Kishor Patil, C-DAC Pune
3.    Mr. Damodar Magdum, C-DAC Pune.


Students were quite attentive and interested in knowing the security concepts. They also though that it is a good initiative by the Ministry of Communications and Information Security to reach to far off areas to make people aware of such issues.
