On 21st September 2009, Goa College of Engineering, Farmagudi - Goa, in association with C-DAC, Hyderabad, Department of Information Technology,Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Government of India and Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Goa organized a "One day Workshop on Information Security Awareness for Teacher and Parents" at Government Polytechnica, Panaji.
Shri.Sanjiv Kamat, CEO at a British Group Call Center, inaugurated the Woskhop on Security Awareness.
Shri. V.B.Kamar, Director of Technical Education and Principal of Goa College of Engineering presided over the function.
Shri. Louis Fernandes, Principal of Government Polytechnic was the Guest of Homor.
Dr. V.N.Shet, Head of Electrical & Electronics Department, who is also the convener for this project, welcomed the Guest and gave a brief detail of the Project Information Security Education and Awareness.
The workshop coordinator, Mr. Vijay Borges and one of the guest speakers were present of the dias and presented the vote of thanks.
Attendance : 112 Teachers and Parents from
