The Information Security Awareness workshop conducted on 21st February 2011 at Government Degree college, Udhampur and workshop was attended by 77 students along with their 19 teachers.The workshop was inaugurated by Shri.Jagjeet Kumar, IPS DIG and the workshop was also attended by the Principal of College Dr.N.K.Resutra and workshop co-ordinator Dr.Sudhir Singh.The key speakers for the workshop were Shri.Rajneesh Raina (STO), Shri S.K. Sharma (STA) and Shri D.S.Oberoi.

The workshop was held in session wise manner and following sessions were held.

1. Introduction about ISEA Project

2.Introduction to Information Security

3.Video Session

4.Detailed Session on Browser, IM, Downloads,Antivirus,Firewall, Spyware,Threats and Vulnerabilities etc

5. Practical session on firewall, Antivirus,OS updates and Internet  Browser

6.Mobile Security

7.Question and Answer

The workshop was covered by local press and same reported in "Daily Excelsior" newspaper on 22nd Feb 2011.
