Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) organized a Workshop of Information Security Awareness at Govt. Polytechnic College, Jammu on 22nd Oct. 2011. Around 30 students and 2 lecturers attended the said workshop.
 
Mr. Daveet Singh of C-DAC Mohali in his detailed presentation discussed about the today's major threats likes Worms, Trojan and botnet. He discussed protection from internet threats and what preventive measures should take.

The workshop was mixture of theory, practical, demo videos, with suitable examples for some of the topics.

The feedback form from participants shows that workshop was very good & Informative for them.
