Information Security Awareness workshop conducted on September 06  by CDAC Mohali for the Government Polytechnic College , Patiala. Around 150 Students attended the workshop.

• Major Common online attacks
• Tips for strong password
• How secure PC

Also Video demo on Identity theft and password were displayed

The programme ended with Queries of  participants . The programme was interactive , teachers and students shared their view on Emails and online frauds.
Posters & handbooks were given to the college library for further reference.
