C-DAC Mohali has conducted the Information Security Education and Awareness workshop at Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Sundar Nagar Mandi  to 150 students on 9th Nov. 2011.The children from 10th, 11th and 12th   standard participated in the workshop and were actively involved during the session.

       The topics on password security, safe browsing, chatting were discussed broadly and the precautions to be taken while downloading content from Internet were briefly elaborated. The children were enthusiastic on using Internet and shared their experiences with virus over Internet. It was a fruitful workshop to the School as per their feedback.
