One day workshop on ISA was conducted on 28th January 2011 @ CDAC KP Auditorium for 70 teachers from 49 schools in and around Bangalore. The objective of the workshop was to create awareness about Information Security amongst teachers who in turn can train the students and parents back at their schools.
Shri Gangaprasad, ACTS Coordinator gave the welcome speech and opening remarks. Dr. Sarat Chandra Babu, Executive Director C-DAC KP Bangalore spoke about ISEA initiatives. The chief Guest Shri V.S. Mahalingam, Distinguished Scientist and Director of Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics gave the inaugural talk on security.
Speakers at this workshop were Shri. Salman Abdul Moiz, Shri. Gokultheerthan, Shri Sreekantha.B.A, Mrs.Karuna Prasad from ISEA volunteer group of CDAC Bangalore
Feedback was collected at the end of the session. Workshop was well received & appreciated by the participants. Overall conduction of the workshop was rated excellent.
