ISEA Workshop for DRDO Officers

ISEA workshop conducted for DRDO officers on 12th May 2010 . 75 participants attended the workshop at the Conference Room of DRDO Bhawan. Executive folders and ISEA material was distributed to all the participants. Brigadier Basu briefed all the members about the requirement of such workshop. Executive Director CDAC, Noida Dr. George Varkey then addressed the members and formally inaugurated the workshop.
Technical session of 2 hr duration was conducted by Ch A S Murty wherein he briefed the participants about Information Security principles, their need and importance, do’s and don’t’s etc. when working on the Internet etc. During the session various questions were asked from the participants and the participant giving the correct answer was awarded.
At the end of technical session all the members appreciated such initiative of CDAC as well as DIT. The workshop conducted along with C-DAC Hyderabad. Mr. Ch A S Murty given a presenation on Information Secuirty Awareness with various concepts.
Participants were highly satisfied with the technical sessions and emphasized the need of such workshops more frequently.
