Information Security Awareness workshop conducted at DOEACC center Kolkata on February 4th for the engineering and diploma students for which around 70 students and 15 faculty members attended.

The workshop started with brief descrption of project by Mr.CH A S Murty and started the session with importance of safe Internet .

The topics covered during the session are

• What is internet?
• What are the risks associated with Internet?
• Advantages and Disadvantages of Internet with examples
• Importance of Copyrights
• How to trace the emails?
• The importance of strong password with examples
• email Security
• Secure Browser
• Many more

At the end of the session quiz was conducted and awarded winners with gifts.

Over all the workshop went well.
