The Information Security Awareness workshop conducted at ECIL for the staff members for the same around 35 members participated.

The session was started with brief introduction by Mr. Badri Narayana Offg.Head, ITSD, ECIL Hyderabad.The technical session was started by Mr.Seelan with basic security concepts, the est and worst thing of Internet , usage of Internet.

Later the session went on with all the latest news, major online risks which was given paralley by Ms.S.OmAarathi and following the are the topics covered during the session.

• Importance of Copyrights
• Importance of Passwords
• e-mail attacks
• Tips and guidelines
• safe downloads
• Secure PC

During the session the questions were raised on DoS attacks, unwanted services, licence key of operating system, MAC address, ssl certificate and all the questions were answered by the team members.

over all workshop went well and received good feed back.
