Information Security Awareness Workshop

The Information Security Awareness workshop was organized at GIET College , Rajamundry on 20th September 2010 at Rajamundry to around 120 engineering students of 3rd year CSE and IT department.

The Topics Phishing, Safe downloads, Security concepts, Skimming, privacy over emails, etc were discussed and explained about various latest Cyber Attacks.  The Social Engineering is also explained to them and most of the students been using social networking sites found that the information on social engineering to be very useful to them and expressed them cautiousness in future in the Internet world.

Overall the workshop was well accepted by the students and the staff of the College.

The Quiz and and crosswords were asked and gifts presented to the members answered rightly. The sessions went on well interactive.
