Information Security Awareness workshop conducted at Govt. Sen. Sec. School on Sept 21, 2011 for the students of +1 and +2  in which around 75 students and 2 faculty members participated.
The workshop started with brief description of project and the session continue with importance of safe Internet .
The topics covered during the session are

• Detailed session on Threats, Vulnerabilities, Browser, IM, Downloads, Anti-Virus, Firewall and Anti-Virus Updates, Spyware etc.
• Anti-Virus signature updating
• Firewall usage and its configuration
• Operating system patches and updates

How browsers are to be used for safe browsing-history, security etc.

• Phishing, Spyware
• Tips for safe downloading etc
