ISA at Hyderabad Public School, Ramanthapur Hyderabad

As part of the National Campaign of Information Security Awareness Workshops, the  workshop was successfully completed with strength of 250 students at Hyderabad Public School, Ramanthapur Hyderabad on 16th April 2010.

Mr. Sreekanth  HOD of the computer science departmentof the school gave a brief description and main objective about the ISEA programme which was executed by C-DAC Hyderabad.

Later Ms. S. Omaarathi gave a brief description about the Information Security Education and Awareness programme and importance of the ISEA Programme for  students and then started the technical session with Internet features, the best and worst thing of the Internet, Internet ethics, Browser Security, Malwares, and told the importance of security when they are online and also gave tips and guidelines that to be followed for safe browsing.

At the end of the session quiz competition was conducted and awarded winners of the competition.

C-DAC Hyderabad received good and positive feedback on the workshop.
