Information Security Awareness workshop conducted for School children from IX, X, XI, XII standards and around 400 students participated for the workshop.
The Principal of the School Shri.Girija Singh told the importance of Information Security Awareness under Education and welcome the C-DAC team.
The presentation started by S.OmAarathi with brief description of the workshop and number of workshops conducted along with participating institutes.
The session started with how people are depended on internet, features of internet, purpose of internet and advantages of the internet.Apart from these she covered the following topics

Questions were raised on phishing, terms and conditions and need of subscribing the e-mail address, how recognize the unwanted applications that are running on PC and they were answered by S.OmAarathi.
The session closed by the worth taken by students in order have a safe browsing , and should take the permission of parents before giving any personal information to others or posting it over websites.
