C-DAC Mohali has conducted the Information Security Education and Awareness workshop on 23rd April 2011 at Postal Department, Chandigarh to 120 Staff Members.
Topics on safe browsing, chatting, Scareware and different internet threats were discussed broadly. Demonstration on how Key loggers and Phishing attacks work were also given ,the precautions to be taken while surfing on Internet were briefly elaborated.
The Employees were very keen to know about the Security measures while using Internet and shared their experiences with different kind of problem they normally faced over Internet. Topics like Virus, Worm and Spyware were also discussed.
Interactiveness with the Staff members created the environment to express their views and problems over internet.
