ISA for Government Employees

C-DAC Hyderabad conducted Information Security Awareness on April 20th 2010 for a 73 participants from various Government organization at Green Park Hotel , Hyderabad.

Mr. ChAS.Murty gave the brief description and importance of ISA workshop.

Mr.UmaMaheswar, Inspector of police  (CyberCrime cell AndhraPradesh ) shared his experiences and gave examples of online frauds like Nigieria scams, lottery scams, phishing scams, social networking abuses and gave some guidelines to be followed while we are online. 

Later Ms.OmAarathi.S gave a presentation on ISA like Advantages and Disadvantages of Internet , safe web browsing, safe search filtering , parental control bars, some of the recent online attacks, cyber crimes, how attacks are categorized and also gave some tips and guidelines that to be followed while we are online in order to prevent ourselves being a victim of cyber crime.
