ISEA Workshop for School Children

C-DAC Mohali has conducted the Information Security Education and Awareness workshop at Pinegrove School,Subathu,Solan to 160 children and 10 teachers. The children from standard 8th, 9th, 10th participated in the workshop and were actively involved during the sessions.
Internet security including safe browsing, chatting, and different internet threats were discussed broadly and the precautions to be taken while surfing on Internet were briefly elaborated. The participants were very interested to know about the Security measures while using Internet and shared their experiences with different kind of problem they normally faced over Internet.Topics like spyware,securing personal details online were also discussed.
The feedback from participants truly represented their satisfaction from the workshop.
