ISEA at Jammu

A workshop was conducted on May 28th at Model Institute Engineering & Technology , Kot Bhalwal, Jammu. The workshop was attended by 76 students along with 3 teachers . The workshop was attended by the Joint Director of College Mr. Ankur Gupta and HOD of Computer Science.

The workshop was held in session wise manner and following sessions were held,

1.Introduction to ISEA Project
2.Introduction to Information Secuirty
3.Video Session-part series
4.Detailed session on Encryption, IDS, threats,Vulnerabilities,Browser,IM, Downloads,Anti virus,Firewall and Anti Virus Updates,Spyware etc
5.Practical session on Firewall, Antivirus,OS updates, /internet Browser, Passwords
6.Tips for Safe downloaing
7.Question and Answer Session


Shri Rajneesh Raina made audience aware of the threats individual faces while using Internet .Later speakers laid the stress on using secured communication and good internet usage practices.


The sessions were finally followed by question answers session, where question ranged from downloading, IDS, steganography,firewall and on Anti-virus software.

The workshop was sucessful.
