ISEA Workshop for School Children
at
Kendriya Vidyala, Nausenabaugh , Visakhapatnam

C-DAC Hyderabad has conducted the Information Security Education and Awareness workshop at Kendriya Vidyala School to around 100 School children and 40 Teachers. The children of standard 9th participated in the workshop and were actively involved during the sessions.
The topics on safe browsing, chatting were discussed broadly and the precautions to be taken while downloading content from Internet were briefly elaborated. The children were enthusiatic on using Internet and shared their experiences with virus over Internet. The feedback from the children shows that it was a workshop to them and they some good and new tips which can be practiced by them in their schools and homes. The School Children also expressed their happiness in attending such a workshop and mentioned they faced some problems which were mentioned during the workshop and now they understood how to overcome such problems like chatting with strangers, virus removal etc.
The workshop started up with a Session to Teachers wherein the topics like sharing children's password, being interactive with kids and many more were discussed and some secuity tips, parent control bar were explained. later on, the session for children was started.
