The workshop was attended by 120 students , teachers and General Public. The key speakers for the workshop were Shri. Rajneesh Raina (TO), Shri. S.K.Sharma (TA) and Shri. D.S.Oberoi (Scientist/Engineer -D).

The workshop was inaugurated by Shri. A.H.Moon, Director - DOEACC center. Srinagar/Jammu. The following are the sessions covered during the workshop.

1. Introduction to the ISEA project
2. Introduction to Information Security
3. Video-Session 2 part series
4. Details session on Browser, IM, downloads, Anti-virus, Firewall nad Anti-Virus, Updates, Spyware, safe password and wireless LAN usage etc.
5. Practical session on Firewall, Anti0virus, OS updates, Internet Browser, Passwords.
6. Question and Answer session

During the workshop the students, teachers and others were made aware of the threats to modern information and communication and laid the stress on using secured communication and followinf good internet usage practices.
