CDAC Mohali has conducted Information Security Education and Awareness workshop on 8th September 2010 at ITI Khanna, Punjab 50 participants (including staff members) attended the workshop.

The Speaker of the presentation Mrs. Navroop started the presentation with what is internet pros & cons of internet.
During the session he also discussed on following topics:
- Phishing , Hoaxes with live incident
- Password Policies
- Browser Security
- Operating System security
- Best practice on internet
- Practical presentation of Trojans.
- Add-ons for the browsers
Apart from this she also discussed symptoms of infected computers. How viruses, Trojan, spyware and worms work and steps to prevent them.
