Information Security Awareness Workshop

for School children

at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Ambala

ISEA Team C-DAC Mohali started on 3rd August 2010 with the aim of enabling all K.V.’s in Ambala cyber threat free. Team conducted workshops in following schools K.V. No.1, K.V. No.2 & K.V. No.4 & covered total 180 students including staff members. ISEA posters were displayed in the school & ISEA handbooks were given. The aim was successfully achieved

Details of Contents like Viruses, Botnet, Phishing, latest case studies were covered in breadth. Practical on security measures that each student & parents should follow were shown to them

The teachers from schools found workshop very useful and found presentation full of contents.

Many of students found contents very effective as these were explained to them in very simple and effective manner. Students were keened to see this workshop once again.
