The C-DAC Hyderabad  conducted workshop at Kendriya Vidyala for Students and teachers on 2nd  August 2010. The Workshop Started with introduction of Information Security Awareness programme.

The main Talk on Information security Awareness was on

• Copyright
• Safe Internet Usage in public computers
• Keyloggers
• Browser Security
• Antivirus
• Computer Virus, worm and Trojan and its symptoms
• Social Networking
• Online Communication ( chat , email , spam etc )
• Online Risks and how to avoid
• Cyber Crime
• Layer wise attacks also been explained
• Firewall & Advantages
• Zombies etc

Video also demonstrated on packet communication.

Finally the programme ended with Queries . Total 90 Students and Four Teachers attended . Positive reponse received by the School Principal and teachers.
