Information Security Awareness workshop conducted at Kendriya Vidyalaya , Jakhoo hills Shimla for which total 120 students participated from XII standard.
The workshop started with a brief description of ISEA program and the importance of such workshops. The resource person from CDAC Mohali Mr.Apoorv Sharma and Daveet singh Lobana started the workshop with the importance of internet and covered the following topics :

• Importance of Copyrights
• Advantages and disadvantages of Internet
• Major online risks
• Phishing
• Cyber crimes
• Password threats
• Tips and guidelines

 Videos shown during session

• Keylogger
• Anti-Spy ware.
• Passwords and its Protection.

 
Questions raised on Phishing, key loggers, peer networks and same answered by speakers.

Over all workshop went well and received good feedback from school students.
