C-DAC Mohali has conducted the Information Security Education and Awareness workshop at Kendriya Vidyalaya School, Kathua  to 80 students on 21st October 2011. The children from 9th and 10th  standard participated in the workshop and were actively involved during the sessions.

The topics on safe browsing, chatting were discussed broadly and the precautions to be taken while downloading content from Internet were briefly elaborated. The children were enthusiastic on using Internet and shared their experiences with virus over Internet. It was a fruitful workshop to the School as per their feedback.
