Information Security Awareness workshop was organized by C-DAC Mohali at Rayat Polytechnic College, Ropar on 7th April 2011.Around 64 final year students & 7 Lecturers have attended the Workshop. The resource person Mrs. Navroop Kohli from CDAC has started the session with main objective of the workshop and started with major online risks and threats related to Computers, Families, Personal Information and steps to be taken to secure computer..

Videos on Phishing scam, Key loggers has been shown.
The participants were enthusiastic on using Internet and shared their experiences with different threatsoverInternet.

Good feedback represented the participants keenness to learn about security issues while doing the internet.
