Information security Awareness Workshop

CDAC Delhi in association with CDAC, Hyderabad has conducted the Information Security Education and Awareness workshop on 17th Aug 2010 at ved vyasa DAV public scholl,Vikas Puri, New Delhi to 300 children and  teachers. The children from standard 11th, 12th participated in the workshop and were actively involved during the sessions.

Topics on safe browsing, chatting, and different internet threats were discussed broadly and the precautions to be taken while surfing on Internet were briefly elaborated. The children were very keen to know about the Security measures while using Internet and shared their experiences with different kind of problem they normally faced over Internet. Topics like Phishing, Virus, Worm and Spyware were also discussed. Interactiveness with the children created the environment to express their views and problems over internet.
