Hyderabad: Quick Heal, a Rs 100-crore, anti-virus solution provider, has launched PC2Mobile Scan, claiming it to be the world’s first mobile phone virus scan. Quick Heal Total Security 2010 supports over 581 models of different makes (mid range to higher-end PDAs), and can be used to remove dormant virus dropped files from even non-Symbian mobile phones.

PC2Moblie Scan detects all mobile platform viruses and supports scanning of mobile phone based on Symbian and Windows OS, and also supports proprietary mobile firmware making it the only single product that supports virus scanning for a variety of makes of mobile phones. TNN
