Dangerous Malware found in 8 Android Apps

A Security Alert is issued to all the android smart phone users on the eight dangerous malware infected mobile applications.

These apps were found to be infected by the malware called Autolyses, that can read messages of the users secretly and can steal data from other users apps also. Google has deleted these apps from Play Store, however, APK versions of these apps are still available on the social media platforms.

All the android smart phone users are advised to uninstall eight dangerous malware infected apps from the mobile phone right away.

  • Steallogin credentials
  • Autosubscribes to the premium version (based on permissions)
  • Subscribesusers to a premium service

Advisory

  1. Beforedownloading a mobile  check for play protect feature on Google Play Store.
  2. Ensurethat you immediately uninstall these apps, in case you have installed them in your 
  3. Downloadapplications only from trusted sources like legitimate websites or authorized app store.
  4. Avoiddownloading apps from SMS, APIs, emails, social media messages, or by clicking 
  5. Becautious about allowing any new permissions during the installation of the 
  6. Properlyverify the app details in the developer’s website before downloading 
  7. Pay attention to reviews and comments of the users, before installing any of themobile 
  8. Usea trusted anti-virus software for mobile security to stay safe from Android
